Three skeins is ready for the shawl. Two of them I space dyed with pink Kool Aid. The third is plain, saving for the edging.

1-27-16 - playing with stitches. Cannot decide if for increases I like more YO’s or pick up twisted stitches.

1-28-16 - agreed on the twisted stitches. I make yo’s on the RS and purl them twisted on the WS. It gives me more efficiency.

Love Maria’s way of starting the shawl. Sewed edges together. It looks flawless!

There is another way to knit stars 3 sts out of 3 (creates a star - 3 knit tog: knit, yo, knit), which is easier. Going for an adventure - stick to the pattern. Since I know the star.

1-29-16 - main body of the shawlette is finished. Time to start on the lace edging.

2-10-16 - shawlette is finished a few days ago, but I am too busy to block and photograph it.
And…. cannot find my blocking wires.
It might take me a while.

2-20-16 - still cannot find my blocking wires…. blocked with pins. The blocked size measures 27” by 54”.
Finished weight is 133 grams.
I used US 5 (3.75mm) 40” (100cm) circular needles, but next time would use a shorter cable, it was too long for me.
Note to myself - next time use finer yarn

I do want to make another shawlette!
