I’ve been working pretty steadily on this lately. I promised myself that I would finish this before the 2017 regular season began, and as I have only 19 more games to cover, that shouldn’t be a problem. I was worried that I’d run out of yarn, but I should be okay on that front, too. I definitely want to mark this upcoming season, too, but I’m trying to decide between making another of these and doing socks OR SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY. Hmmmmm

I’ve found that twisting the old and new colors both when I switch and when doing the DD at the end of round 1 helps my tension and prevents me from wasting yarn.

I really like this pattern. Doing the color changes at the last DD of the round makes it practically impossible to see any jog. The only thing is that I have to get my tension right at the color changes; I’ve been leaving too much slack and then having to go back and fiddle with the stitches near the DD to make things look good again. That also might just be a side effect of not having knit much over the last year and a half.

Finished knitting rows for all 163 games of the 2016 season. Now I’m just trying to figure out how I want to end this. Also, do I want to knit more rows and then duplicate stitch the season on this? So many decisions to make…
