TUNISIAN TEN STITCH BLANKET

Loosely cast on 11 chain.

1. Insert hook in 2nd chain from hook, YOH, pull through and leave this stitch on your hook. Repeat this to end of row.

11 stitches on hook

1. YOH and pull though 1 stitch. YOH pull through 2 stitches, repeat until 1 stitch remains on your hook.

2. Slide your hook through the 1st bar from last row. YOH and pull through leaving the stitch on your hook. Repeat through all bars to end of row.

11 stitches now on hook

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until 10 rows have been completed.

TURNING YOUR CORNER.

Now, make 10 more chain. Insert hook into 2nd chain from hook, YOH and pull through leaving stitch on hook. Repeat to end of row. (10 stitches on hook).
Insert hook into 1st bar of first block, YOH and pull through. (11 sts on hook).
YOH, pull through 2 stitches, and repeat to end of row. (1 stitch on hook).

Next Row. Slide hook through 1st bar from row below, YOH and pull through, leave stitch on hook, repeat to end of row. Slide hook through bar at end or row on 1st block YOH and pull through, (11 sts on hook), YOK pull through 2 stitches and repeat to end of row. (1 stitch now left on hook)

Continue working rows and picking up the bars from your original block until ten rows completed.

Turn your corner as previous, and continue………………………………………

If you want to make a rectangle, stop at a square and then work ten stitch rows back and forward.
