CO 165 sts using stash linen fiber purchased eons ago.
This would probably work better on slightly larger needles. Using the Twisted German CO was a mistake - it created a rippled edge. My gauge is uneven so the width varies. And it’s smaller than my other towels - apparently my initial design measurements were off.

• All rows worked in linen st
• CO 165 sts w/ecru (e)
• work 2”
• change to white (w) & work alternating stripes: 2 w, 2 e, 4 w, 6 e, 10 w
• w/e work in patt to 15.75” from CO
• rep strip sequence in reverse order ending w/2” e
• BO in patt
