Based on a desire to use remainder yarns and tie together gloves and a shawl I played with using variegated yarn in a stranded pattern. The result diminished the design but does meet the goals. Knitting while chatting on the phone resulted in an error in the center motifs (a very simple multiple). Since tinking this alpaca does more harm than good, I elected to repeat the error in the second half of that section which added to rounds to the width.
CO 144 sts because my yarn is weight 1 instead of 2 as per pattern.
20.5” circ unstretched, 4” height

I will do one more headband with the remaining alpaca yarn using a pattern by this same designer using one size smaller needles since this fits okay but could be a little more snug.
