23/11/10: This is my first ever knitting project, so I must be crazy to choose a project that involves dpns, knitting in the round and cables! The gloves are lovely and the pattern looks pretty straightforward, though, so I’m excited to see how I’ll get on!

30/11/10: Wristwarmer no.1 is finished! It’s not perfect because I made a few mistakes, dropped a few stitches and had to try and pick them up again and I think I added an extra row in one of the cables, but overall I’m pretty happy with how I’ve done! Hopefully no.2 will be better! I think maybe the opening near the fingers needs to be a tad tighter, so I’ll have to see what I can do there.

14/01/10: I’ve finally finished the second one! I completely lost motivation part way through. I sorted out the bagginess problem by using slightly smaller needles after the last cable.
