I didn’t take a photo of this till I’d bought buttons (again, from Loop). I decided to elasticate the waist with single strand elastic threaded through the ribbing, rather than a piece of waist elastic sewed in on the back of the waist, which is what the pattern said. I’m pleased with it, as the elastic doesn’t show.
