I am making this blanket for the granddaughter of a Hindu colleague. An adorable little girl of about 2 years old.

The hexagons in a granny pattern:
ch.5, sl st to make ring.
dc + 2 ch 6 x in ring
then continuing to make a granny.

The only problem is that the blanket is rather oval. I don’t know what to do about that yet, or if it’s something I have to do something about. I’ll have to ask my colleague.
