This was a project which grew. I just wanted to make a blanket for my son, but by the time the project was well underway, he was not interested in orange anymore (everything had to be black), so I modified it to fit my own bed and I bought cotton wherever I found a likely skein and color.

I like the pattern for it’s flower-like appearance. If you like I can write it out (but have to translate it first) or maybe just draw it. Let me know.

The hexagons were added as they were finished. I had no plan, so I just added a hexagon where I thought that specific colour fitted. It was a bit of a struggle to get the blanket rectangular in the end.
