It really did take two balls of the navy blue - even with the gauge swatch I couldn’t have squeaked out that last ridge. Three balls all of the same colour would have worked, though.

Bold is SO STRETCHY that I could have blocked this to my size - or big enough for me and my bestie to both fit into. I stretched and squished it back to the size intended, though.

If I knit this again for myself, I’ll make the racer back wider so that it covers more of my shoulder blades. Cast on more stitches, maybe even make the back upside down, with the wider bit at the top. Or knit it straight down the back, and then pick up the edges and knit a ridge or two at the back. Maybe with the leftover of the navy ball?
