Finally going to cast off. Whooorah

7/18: Crap. Went to my LYS store today and got advice. This is totally NOT the right pattern for a beginner lace knitter at all. Many screwed up counts. I have to tear out all of my rows of lace and start again. Argghhh. I’m too stubborn to quit though so ribbit ribbit (frogging) I go.

7/13: For grins I counted the stitches on the final increase row, row 79=874 stitches

7/8/15 Holey smokes five rows into this lace and these rows are getting LOOOONNNG very fast. The last knit row was 647 stitches, currently on a purl row, but the next knit row will be 1021 stitches with increases eleven more times after that. I bet this thing winds up with 2000 stitches in those final rows.

7/4/15: Body is COMPLETE. Now ready to start with the lace edging. Happy 4th!
6/23/15: 23 rows knitted. Trying to catch up with my buddy knitting it as well. Long haul ahead. In order to catch up I’m going to have to knit ten rows a day this next week and the rows will get longer and longer and longer… shall see how far off the mark I get. C’mon conference calls;-)

6/3/15 Figured out how to do a long tail cast on. Cast on complete.

6/15/15 Knitting buddy showed me a major error in being off by a count. Frogged and starting again.
