primary category is knitting however there is a LOT of embroidery and crochet in this piece. All colorwork was knit flat. As I am a very novice knitter i am proud of how it turned out. The scarf itself represents various parts of my life
-Sunflowers represent my love of gardening and connections to an online gardening forum I have been part of for years and dear friendships through that
-Cookies were crocheted and are adorned with French knots and represent my love of baking
-Carpe Diem is my motto. As I love puns the orange fish are carp and this is a play on words
-The waves represent another motto “make waves.”
-Joy is my daughters name
-A yellow car was my first car
-Blue and white are the colors of my kitchen
-The blue in the waves is the color of my sunroom
-The polka dots on the two ends represent me, a little colorful, a little dotty

The edges are ragged but put together it represents me, flawed but colorful:-)
