I started this project in mid-February. I have the back completed and the front almost finished.

I misread the directions when doing the back, and measured the length to include the ribbing, instead of excluding it; thus the length is about 3 inches shorter than it should be. Which isn’t bad, actually, as I am shorter than the average person. So now I am doing the front the same way, and will probably make the sleeves shorter, too, after seeing pictures of this sweater being worn by other makers.

I find it really helpful to see the same project made by others with the same yarn.

March 19: Finished the front and started the sleeves (one at a time; I had thought briefly of trying both at once but decided against it).

March 28,2014: Finished one sleeve and started the other.

Decided to make the neckpiece longer and roll it over for a short turtleneck.

April 9, 2014: Finished! Not perfect, but pretty good. Starting on another in brown heather.
