I’ve made fifteen of these hats and counting. I cast on the first one on the drive up to Rhinebeck and finished it soon after I came home. The hat has literally kept me sane through the end of the election and the election and the aftermath. It looks great on everyone and is the perfect combination of having to pay a little attention and knitting with my eyes closed and I can finish one off in a day or so.

I cast on using a tubular cast and size 6 needles, then switch to 7 for the remainder of the hat. The hat uses about 3/4 of a skein of Tosh Vintage.
