I made a Harry Potter set for my daughter’s American Girl doll for Christmas 2013.

I made everything except for the owl cage (purchased at Michaels), the cauldron (it’s a Danon yogurt container from France that i already had) and the owl (a Folkmanis puppet that I sewed elastic to so it would sit on Ivy’s arm).

For the wand and case I pretty much followed these instructions:

The chocolate frog and Bertie Botts containers I found online and shrunk the templates.

The potion bottles I purchased at Michaels and then filled them with various things, made the labels on my computer and glued the corks in.

The Howarts letter I did myself with some free fonts I found online (there is also a Hogwarts Express ticket in the envelope).
