Custom made to fit Bodum Assam 34 oz. (6-cup) pot with stainless tea press. Used matching Brunswick Plaid fabric containing both shades of these yarns.

Held Pomfret triple-stranded and used one strand of the Vail Homespun.

Jade Heather square weighed 2.4 oz; Straw Heather square weighed 2.2 oz. when finished. Have not yet figured the yardage. 24” long Addi Circulars worked best.

This teapot was hard to design for because of the high up position of spout, but more importantly, no structure/body (except the nob) about the spout to support the cozy. I attached a yarn wrapped plastic ring on the inside to for the knob to nestle into (a “divet”) to help the cozy: 1. keep from sagging down from the top area, and 2. stay in position when pouring, as the glass is super slippery, the cozy can move about when picked up.

Looks better on a “proper” pot of ceramic (not as slick) and with a traditional spout placement.
