A cute, fun knit! This was my first time knitting with beads. I used the technique where you string all the beads on at the beginning and then knit them into your work as needed. It worked fairly well, although they did tend to slip to the back of the work. I think slipping the stitch where the bead goes would keep it in front nicely, but I don’t think that would work with this pattern since there are yarn overs before the beads. Anyway, this worked up quickly and I’m happy with the final result. It was also my first time crocheting!

This is just a little present for my sister, who is getting married in a week.
