Using Yarn A, ch 37

Row 1: 3 dc in the 5th ch from hook, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in next ch, * ch 3, 3 dc in same ch as last sc, skip 3 ch, 1 sc in next ch; rep from * to end. Turn

Row 2: Ch 4, 3 dc in first ch of beginning ch 4, skip next sc and 3 dc, 1 sc in next ch-3 sp, * ch 3, 3 dc in same ch-3 sp, as sc just made, skip next sc and 3 dc, 1 sc in next ch-3 sp; rep from * across, working last sc under beg ch 4. Turn

Repeat Row 2 for pattern for a total of 10 rows in Yarn A.

Repeat colours as follows:

10 rows Yarn B, 10 rows Yarn C, 10 rows Yarn D, 10 rows Yarn E, 10 rows Yarn B, 10 rows Yarn A, 10 rows Yarn D, 10 rows Yarn E.

Fasten off. and weave in all threads.

Fringe
Make a total of 16 fringes, 8 in Yarn C, and 8 in Yarn A. For each fringe, cut 3 strands of yarn approx. 12” in length and fold in half. Attach 8 evenly across each end of Scarf and trim if needed.

Added 5 more blocks of color. The original length was too short to wrap around and hang low enough. I believe I accomplished that

Back story: this is vintage JC PENNEY 100% wool a friend found for me at the flea market. Only 1 skein had a label.
