I knit this with some leftover yarn from my niece’s little butterflies sweater so that her doll would match her. Very simple pattern, knit in one sitting. This sat for a while waiting for me to sew buttons on. The buttons are made by me too. They’re large, but the small ones I made didn’t come out well, so I used these which also match the little girl sweater. I’m telling myself that they will be easier for her as she learns how to button.

I had to look up what yrn (yarn round the needle) means and it’s just another way of saying yo (yarn over).

I’ve knit many sweaters and knew what to do, but if you’re wondering what to do when you come to the bound off stitches in the middle of the row, I added some pics to help. You simply pinch the live stitches so they’re next to each other and knit the next stitch. Snug that stitch up after you knit it to make for a nice transition.
