Have you ever liked a pattern but didn’t buy it because you did not have a recipient in mind? And then you figure a project out and then you go to buy that pattern and it has then been removed from Ravelry? That’s what happened with Arachne. I was disappointed because I finally found someone who would really appreciate it, and it looked like a fun knit.

I decided to make one myself with the top-down sweaters by Ann Budd.

I made a gauge and figured out that I needed to start with 20 pattern repeats around the neck.
