I knit about a half a dozen or so more repeats than the pattern called for, so this wrap is extra long.
This is fabulous yarn to hold and wear. It is very soft compared to most other Noro yarns.
Update 1/10/2015: This was one of those free tear-off kind of patterns hanging on a hook by the yarn at Michael’s 2 or 3 years ago. I’m not surprised people are having trouble finding it. A knitter brought it into Rose Path (our LYS) and a handful of people made it from copies of her pattern. It is not for sale anywhere that I know of. Here is our version:
Lisa’s wrap - also known as “Knit Versatile Wrap”
Materials: Chunky weight yarn (size 5)
Knitting needles size 15 (straight or circular)
Gauge: 8 sts and 12 rows = 4” in pattern
Instructions:
Cast on 39 sts.
Beg Row (WS): knit across.
Row 1 (RS): k7, yo, k1, ssk, k7; rep from to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 2 and all even rows: k2, purl to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 3 k4, k2tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, ssk, k3, k2tog, k1, yo, rep fromto last 2 sts, k2.
Row 5 k3, k2tog, k1, yo, k1; k2, yo, k1, ssk, k1, k2tog, k1, yo, k1; rep fromto last 2 sts, k2.
Row 7 k2, k2tog, k1, yo, k2, k5, k2tog, k1, yo, k2, rep from to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 9 k2, ssk, yo, k3, k4, k2tog, k1, yo, k3; rep fromto last 2 sts, k2.
Row 11 k4, yo, k1, ssk, k3, k2tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, ssk; rep from to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 13 k5, yo, k1, (ssk, k1, k2tog, k1, yo, k3, yo, k1) twice, ssk, k1, k2tog, k1, yo, k7.
Row 15 k6, yo, (k1, ssk, k7, yo) twice, k1, ssk, k10.
Row 16 rep row 2.
Repeat rows 1-16 seven times.
Repeat rows 1-8 once more. Knit next 2 rows.
Bind off loosely in knit.
Weave in ends.
