I started knitting this 3 months post partum, put it down for 2 years, and finished it up in 3 days.

I’m not sure why I chose size 6 needles with the fingering yarn, but it made the lace more lacey and less cabley. It’s beautiful, but definitely not what the design was going for.

I only had 2 skeins, so I knit until I had 10 grams left, started the border, and cast off when I was running out of yarn. I might have had 1 yard left over in the end. Perfection!

For those frustrated with having to move the markers on 3/4 of the RS rows, just go with it for a while until you figure out the pattern, and then you can remove the markers all together because the pattern is really easy to see. I put one marker after the 1st 7 sts, and one after the lace, and that was it. It went much faster after I removed the markers between each lace repeat.
