Realised at the beginning of January that Sian and Jon’s 7th anniversary was fast approaching and that 7 years is wool. As a knit/crochet fanatic I could hardly not make them something so I raided my stash and found this Lima selection of colours.
Decided on a cushion cover as both can use it. Found a lovely pattern in my newly acquired crochet book by Nicki Trench and made a start.
I just could not make her number of stitches work so I had to adapt in the end to get the waves to match. Once the numbers worked it was fine and I liked the fill in edging to square off the wavy sides.
Very pleased with finished result but sadly have not been able to get it to Sian and Jon owing to appalling weather conditions - maybe this week.
