After a few false starts, I finally got the ribbing done. This yarn can be a bit fiesty.

Coloring is most true in the in progress photos.

4/2 - Finished first repeat really fast. I might need to do an extra repeat of chart A since I’m using such a thin yarn. We’ll see.

4/3 - Doing 4 repeats of chart A due to my skinny yarn.
Started Chart B. Still a little worried that it might be too small, but I measured it against a hat that fits perfectly, so we’ll see. If it’s too shallow, I’ll just add more to the ribbing.

4/4 - Running into issues on Row 8 of Chart B. Not sure what I did, but I’m a stitch short in almost all my sections. Not looking forward to trying to figure it out with this pain in the ass yarn.
Had to rip back about 8 rows. I’m not sure how I’m going to find my spot on the chart without a lot of hassle, but I’ll do it.

4/20 - Frogged and restarted! Did almost 2 inches of ribbing to add some length and a bit more stability.

5/8 - Finally working on this again after loosing it in the melee of the couch mess for a long time. Hoping I can get this one knocked out and off my WIPs list in the next few days.

OMG, the hat of evil is done! (The pattern is lovely, the yarn is evil.)
