Late birthday present for my brother. Waiting for yarn, will cast on sometime in August probably, and deliver in person over Labor Day Weekend when I FINALLY get to go back home for a visit.

I enjoyed making VOLD so much the first time, I thought this would be the perfect present for my brother. Changing up the color scheme and using two shades of blue with the cream and gray from last time.

Somewhere after I added in CC3 I made a mistake, which I only caught as I neared the end of the second section. So, as I am wont to do, I ripped everything back down to the color change. Instead of finishing tonight, I will be restarting that section. Oh well, I’d rather have it right, and I have 9 more days to get it done. No problem!

Ya, so what I thought was a mistake in section 2 was actually the result I made on 3rd round of section 1 woman-facepalming

So I’m ripping down to the very beginning and of section 1 (after the brim) and starting over. This is most embarrassing as it is my second VOLD and the first was knit without a hitch. Oh well. Flight is in 8 days.
