This is the first real exploration into intarsia. That’s going to be a lot of weaving in of loose ends but it’s going to look great. After stitching panels together, the back will be covered with a (prewashed) piece of felt which will be sewn up the connecting sections in Navy thread to match the borders.

I added several photos to show the final knitted piece but also some of th eintermediate stages. The pieces all done ready to be sewn. The backsides before all the weaving/finishing work. That took a few days. I also added the Clown Fish panel about half-way finished to show all the bobbins. I think there were 11-12 for that piece! The end result was worth it, though.
