Well, I picked this pattern because it was quick, which I figured was my only chance at finishing it during the Ravellenic Games considering all of the other projects I wanted to do. Still…even then I wasn’t expecting it to take only about 48 hours, not counting the time spent blocking, although I’ve been knitting pretty steadily. So I was pretty happy with the fact that I got this done easily in the time I have left.

Not as thrilled with the pattern. I was originally following the written pattern (easier on my tablet to mark than the chart), but the body rows were only clear in the first repeat. After that, I couldn’t figure out what the heck to do because there were notations used that just aren’t explained in the pattern that I could see. I eventually figured out what I needed to do using the chart (although that wasn’t explained as clearly as it could be, it was still better than the written pattern). So I’m unlikely to be knitting this again…although, even with mistakes I made in the lace, it did turn out rather spectacular with the beaded/sequined yarn.
