This skein of yarn went UA for about 6 years, 3 moves ago. When I finally found it (thanks to the cats knocking an open bin off the the shelving unit; the yarn was at the bottom of that bin), I had no idea what on earth I should do with it…and then realized it’s the perfect yarn for a 7 year old girl. So I grabbed a couple of US10.75 needles and got started.

c/o of 52 sts, put markers after every 13 sts. Alternated between an increase row and a straight knit row; increases were done as YOs after the first stitch, one stitch before and one stitch after each marker, and one stitch before the end. Once the poncho was a few inches past her shoulders, I went up to the larger needles and stopped increasing. Then I just kept working til I was out of yarn.
