Changed it a bit as I didn’t want to crochet a ribbed band and try to sew it evenly on. So I used sz 10.5 circular knitting needles, picked up 60 st and worked a K2P2 ribbing for several rows. Then I bound off half the stitches and, working back and forth with a decrease on both ends of each round, I worked 4 more rows and then bound remaining stitches off (gives it a little wider band at the top front of the head)
