Bottom picture shows how I tamed tangling, which can be fierce in Sekku. A prescription bottle inserted into the core supports the yarn on a dowel mounted in a block of wood. I had this laying around already -- a child’s woodworking project from years ago. Anything that allows the yarn to spin and feed freely from the side so that it doesn’t develop too much twist will do. Dare I suggest even a tabletop bathroom tissue dispenser??
