I altered the pattern to fit my bear. I used fingering weight instead of DK weight, and a # 4 (F) hook. Initial chain was 43, and my armhole shaping was slipping 5 stitches at the beginning, and leaving 5 at the end of the row giving me a total of 32 stitches left. I did not change to a larger hook for the dc clusters. I also used a second contrast color immediately following the first color change. Finally, the second time through the dc clusters, I made 5 instead of three to make the skirt a bit longer, and finished the bottom of the skirt with a sc row of the mc to help keep it from curling up. This was my first crochet project, and I enjoyed it. Cute pattern! Thank you. Picture to follow.
