Notes

Larger hen done with the size 4 and spud and chloe yarn. Sweet little pattern. I’m not very good at stranding in the round and this was a good chance to practice.

I used little bags of poly pellets (inside little organza wedding sachet bags) to weight these a little so they’d stand, seemed to work well.

With all the dpn directions it was a little confusing on picking up stitches on the base at first. Basically you have the 4 stitches you end up with after working flat (your BOR marker is in the middle of them). Pick up 20 along the first long side, 4 on the short end, 20 more on the other long side, knit 2 and you are back at the BOR marker. Should give you a total of 48 stitches. I also did all of my increases in the first round after picking up the base stitches so they were better hidden.

I did a different stranding pattern on 2 of the hens, just liked it better. It was a multiple of 6 so had to adjust numbers a bit.
