The pattern is really nice.
I cast on 110 stitches like the pattern.
I dyed and spun the yarn for this hat - I wanted to see what a really ‘barber-pole’ yarn knit up like.
I knit plain for just over 7”. I decided to have a more drastic decrease, so I K2tog for one round and the next round plain, and repeated these tow rows until there were just a few stitches left, and then pulled the end of the yarn through the stitches.
The hat is super soft and stretchy!
This was an experimental dyeing, and I love the results.
