My first weaving project with yarn that I dyed and spun.

The first time I am using a warping board that my husband made for me (from a Craftsy pattern).

80” warp
46 ends dark purple
48 ends purple
14 ends blue
108 ends total - 9” wide
Plain weave
12 dent reed
6” left at the beginning for fringe
Hemstitched - 4 thread groups, over 2 threads

I designed the warp stripes while I was sleying the reed, just random.
I am randomly adding dyed locks of wool for texture.
I used a fringe twister for the fringe (35 rotations each) - it sure made nice ends for the scarf.
The photos on the loom are not good representations of the colours.
The scarf came out nice. Next time I would make the warp longer, with fewer ends (the scarf is a bit wide for me).
I fulled it when I washed it and gave it a hard press while wet - the scarf came out beautifully!
