Mashing up two patterns, to use up leftover yarn from “They’re BOTH Evil” and make a somewhat matching hat. Idea is to make a colour work band out of the same charts from the mittens, but otherwise knit Decussate.

Apparently this one is for Dorian, and I need to make another (probably have enough yarn?) even larger, and use larger needles on the colour work, which pulls in just enough to pop the hat off my head.

Otherwise, really like the look of how it turned out and the feel of this for a lightweight winter hat.

Finished the 2nd one last night. Probably hard to tell #1 from #2 in the photos - #2 being larger, possibly having a slightly different colourwork pattern as I had to adapt more stitches from the charts.
