Notes

I found a sock I made from handspun yarn, which I had started spinning during a Judith MacKenzie McCuin workshop at SockSummit 2011. The workshop was on blending fibre to spin for socks, and the blend I made - enough for small socks - was from a red mystery wool, with bits of mohair, silk, and I think even Angora.

I knit the first sock sort-of freehand, using elements (toe, heel, leg cable) from Kaci’s pattern, but with the sole in reverse stockinette and instep in stockinette up to the ankle. I think I actually knit this around 2018, as I was trying to prep for my OHS certificate portfolio and I needed more stuff knit from handspun.

BUT. I do not appear to have added either the handspun or the first sock to Ravelry as a project, so NOW I am knitting the second sock, trying to interpret from the first what I actually did.
