Notes

Playing yarn chicken with Chikadee held double! Needless to say, I ran out of yarn as I was doing the second ear. I finished by using one strand of chickadee and another strand of something soft and silky!

The bunny is knit fairly tight, but will soften up with use.

The scarf is a miniature Edinburgh rocks. I wanted a yellow bow or scarf for the little Easter bunny (for my Easter baby). I figured Edinburg rocks would be an excellent alternative. Normally I like to have knitted a pattern the way it’s supposed to be before I start modifying it, but not in this case. The ribbed tab and ribbed tab loop were simple enough. I just made them smaller.

I shortened the scarf bit to suit the bunny, only wrap once and made it smaller, but I managed to keep the pattern elements running up along the scarf. The curve on the scarf was unintentional, but very useful for the tiny bunny neck and shoulders. Methinks it was created by the different tension in the slipped stitches.

For the leaves I did as the pattern said, just smaller and with less stitches. I think I used about 10g of yarn for the scarf.

Now, I have to admit, I want an Edinburg rocks for myself (and my daughter)
