I LOVE this pattern. I cannot say enough good things about it. Followed instructions pretty exact. Did use traditional 5dc pocorn. Each square took about 1 ball of yarn. Joining took about 1/3 of a ball. Rest of that ball and one more for two rows dc edging. Joined using a crocheted slip stitch.
