Size 4 signature needle for MC stockinette
Size 4 Dyakcraft wooden needle for MC & CC garter
Size 3 Dyakcraft metal needle for neck
Size 0 ChiaGoo for picking up stitches
Size 5 Dyakcraft short tip metal circular needles for sleeves

Stockinette 24 sts x 36 rows
Garter 26 sts x 50 rows

Hard to capture the true colors in both yarns. The main color (wellwater) is a dusty blue-grey tonal and the CC is a rich purple mixed with very short color runs of green, brown, navy, and lighter shades of purple.

30Nov24: yoke finished.
10Dec24: Body finished.

Sleeves - worked 91 rows with size 5 circular. Continued to 103 rows with size 4 needles. Worked final decrease as a sssk to get to 56 sts. Worked faux binding (hollow rib) for 8 rows. Decreased using ‘p2tog, p2’ to decrease from 56 to 42 for final 1X 1 twisted ribbing of 1.5”.

Yarn: Malabrigo Sock is excellent quality and there was absolutely NO dye bleeding during washing/blocking.

Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light - as with all small batch dye batch yarn, my skeins differed significantly between them. I needed to rip out a couple of inches because the color change was too drastic. Changing to another skein and working from the “other end” alternating rows, etc were all required with this particular colorway and with my specific skeins. Love the softness of the stockinette fabric but know from previous sweaters with this yarn, it will pill and the entire fabric will get a fuzzy outward appearance. Still will continue to use this yarn despite these qualities because it is a perfect layering weight for year-round mid-weight sweaters.
