I used the 26 pegs KK long loom. I did a basic cast on and then the stockinette stitch throughout. (Be sure to put an anchor yarn on the cast on row, so you can identify the “live” cast-on stitches when you bind off.)
This is @ 25” long. The bind off is done with a crochet hook, which makes a nice finished edge. I added a large button, since the yarn was bulky: Acrylic yarn, “Charisma” by Loops and Threads in black. I used just one strand of yarn, and it used up almost all of 1 skein.
I went ahead and sewed the button all the way through all the layers in order to keep it lined up.
