My older brother is in last stages of MS and he likes to hold onto a soft, plushy thing in his right hand, which he can still move. I tried to make the kitty look like our cat that we had for 19 years, together. I got the pattern from Anne Bipes, and used fun fur with a corresponding worsted weight yarn in the same colors. The fun fur is too skinny by itself, so you need to combine it with another strand of same color yarn. The body is made 1st, then the head, then the I-cord tail with a chenille stem inside it, so it is pose-able :) I used the little blue Knifty Knitter for this project. The pattern is still FREE!!!
