The yarn and pattern just went together in my mind (age of brass and steam + old copper yarn).

The yarn turned out to be thicker than dk so I totally could have gone up even more in the needle size.

I had a lot of yarn left when I got to the point where the pattern ends, so I did another stockinette section and ended (as the pattern does) with a garter eyelet section.

Great pattern! It uses so little yarn, it’s crazy!
