I didn’t want the wrist part to be as long as the pattern intended, so I didn’t do as many rows as it called for. The star stitch is really beautiful and works up very quickly. The pattern was pretty easy to follow, except some confusion at the thumbhole (chain 7 and then skip 4 stitches in the next round?) but I improvised and made it work. I love this wool - beautiful colors, warm, and easy to work with.
