Notes

Doing the xl pattern to fit a diameter of 25.5 - 28 cm,
As I have only made a couple of socks I am quite new to this.
The pattern is clear to use

But I would is to make the pattern clearer in just a couple of small things.
1. Abbreviation & Definitions
Please add cn cable needle ( if you are new to cables you have to go and look this up otherwise ).

  1. Should the pattern continue all the way to the toe or is a half a pattern required? This sounds clear in the pattern but when looking at the photo it looks like a half pattern. On looking at the other socks, some seem to have the whole pattern other just half?

54 grams of wool used about half the skein.
Just One sock

Worked 9 repeats down the leg and the foot took another 10 repeats to make a 10” foot. Gauge is 9sts and 13 rows to 1 inch

The circumference of my sock leg is 8.5” flat, and easily stretches to 11”

Pattern layout is good. I used the written instructions

Pattern was clear and easy to follow, apart from the 2 items above.

No errors found.

Let me know if you’d like to earburned for future tests.
yes

Would be a god idea to show a web site for kitchener stitch for the grafting off.
