I had to frog this so many times until I finally got the hang of it. I had to use the step by step instructions to construct it because the explanation instructions were confusing to me. Because I’m experienced in short rows, I understood what I was doing, anyway.

It’s a really great, well-written pattern with charts and two different explanations of how to knit it. The end result is absolutely gorgeous.

I used my own rainbow handspun for the feathers and I am so very happy with how it turned out.
