The first time I saw this pattern, I thought “ Wooooow! I MUST do that, too!” But I have enough things on my needles now, so I decided it has to wait.
Day after day I saw other knitters trying this pattern and lots of them complaining that it is really hard. NOW I thought, yes, yes, yes, I must really, really do this. So I bought it and gave it a try.
Indeed, the pattern is challenging. And I also had a mistake in my first piece that I could not figure out. So I sat down, translated the pattern (which I normally don’t) and at the same time built logigal clusters of instructions. Then, it was easier for me to follow those chunks and not to forget some steps in the row. (I normally do not like following written instructions, because they are really unclear. I always prefer charts because I know from first sight where I am in the pattern. But this time I could not figure out a way to write a chart of that pattern - does anyone know?)
The second try looks great! Now I satisfied my curiosity and will go on with my other projects until I have time for this one again. But I already have an idea…
