12/24/14 What a beautiful holiday project!

12/25/14 finished part 4 :D

01/09/15 decided to shorten the pattern repeats as I do not like such a slouchy something at the back of my head ( I usually wear jackets with hoods and these somehow do not like “big” hats, maybe I just have a too short neck…anyway…)

I sometimes had little mistakes in the pattern repeats because anywhere was one stitch too much or one less…but as I already knitted entrelac, I understood the system and had the possibility to hide my inattention. But nobody will notice…

Now, I started the brim and like the feel of the fabric, as thinner needles make it steadier, so I hope the hat will stay where it should.

I am looking forward to finish it, cannot wait the result.

Yeah, nearly perfect! Just a million threads to wave in ( I knitted the brim in rounds and should have done this before, too…). Still not sure, whether to add pompons or not.

PS. Sorry for the bad pictures. I took them late at night. When I noticed the bad quality, I had already finished the hat.
