This wool was purchased on our last trip to Bendigo in 2013. It was in the back room, and not banded but was all the same dyelot.. listed as 348g of which I would have used about 190g.
My husband chose it and thought it would make a nice jumper for one of the grand babies… lucky Mitchell will be the receiver.
Finished this the last week of March 2014 ! Turned out rather good except only managed 2 buttons… wanted 3!!
I was hopeing this will turn out like the picture in my head !! almost did :-)
Used mix pattern combo.

1. For the main body size ( 12 months ) and stitch count I used #14. Diamond Texture Sweater pattern from Patons book 1271.. this gave me the little front button tab.
2. For the collar I decided to cast on as if to do a neck band and knit until I thought it would be enough.. allowing a good turn over.

I will do this again but extend the from tab to make it a 3 button Polo.
