• Knit with Version 2 of pattern update so Rows 19 & 20 of the Reverse Triangle Section were backwards.
•Tensions adjusted to tighten up as I went and I feel that it affected the color pooling.
•Color did not bleed into water at all when blocking.
5/22/18 Will be winding my yarn up today with my new Amish Swift and KnitPicks ball winder!!!
(Progress Pic 1) Cast on: Should i start at a certain point in the colors to ensure pretty/not weird pooling? I just tried to keep the color symmetrical for initial caston (a bit of orange on each side).
5/23/18 (Progress Pic #2) 3 pattern repeats and I am liking how to color is pooling with warmth on the inside.
5/24/18 Looks like my gauge is a little large. I didn’t bother swatching because I didn’t think it would make much of a difference (other than color pooling) if my size/gauge was off for a wrap/shawl.
5/26/18 (Progress Pic #3) About halfway and I can’t decide how I like the pooling. I like it pooling at the center for a bit and then the orange going out to the edge and back in BUT I feel the second pool of orange is a bit TOO long. It seems like when I try to tighten my tension that the colors move out and in. Then when I go with loose tension it pools more at the middle. Am I imagining things???
5/29/18 (Progress Pic 4) Beginning 7th repeat of Reverse Triangle Section. Pooling is becoming more consistent. Maybe I’ll try knotting loose to match beginning?
5/30/18 Done knitting. Just need to block and sew buttons.
5/31/18 (Progress Pic 5 w/ text) Blocking and taking note of where I adjusted my tension to play with color. I THINK my tensions had something to do with it at least. I am blocking to help make the size more consistent since my tension did change.
6/2/18 Sewed on buttons! Done!
