What a perfect pattern! It was absolutely a dream to work up and see my hand dyed fiber’s colors accentuated and highlighted by the simplicity of the garter stitch as well as the braid and scalloped edging.

I followed the pattern and the advice to leave about 40% of what I used for the body garter for the final edging detail. I saved 2.85 oz of my 8 oz yarn to complete the braid. It was almost exactly correct with a little extra to save.

I will most certainly make this shawl again! It has great drape when you wrap it around your shoulders!
